Gondia, Maharashtra has just opened a new dual-sport facility with the completion of Bajaj Sports Club’s artificial football turf and an integrated cricket pitch. Meckavo Sports designed and built this project, blending the excitement of football with the appeal of cricket. This setup gives players in the area the best of both sports on a single field.
The facility covers a 33.5 x 20 x 8 meter area and uses Bellin Diamond artificial grass, making it suitable for high-intensity matches and frequent use. The cricket pitch is well positioned, allowing players to enjoy five-a-side football games and easily switch to cricket practice or short matches. This design is cost-effective and uses space efficiently.
Situated behind Khandelwal Rice Mill in Goutam Nagar, Bajpai Ward, Murri, Gondia, this project shows Meckavo Sports’ skill in creating versatile turf designs for multiple sports while maintaining quality and performance. The combination of durable football turf and a cricket-friendly surface is expected to draw in sports enthusiasts, local teams, and weekend players from across Maharashtra.
