We’re happy to announce the successful completion of JC Turf, a fresh and exciting sports turf project located in Mylliem Madan-Lingsyiem, East Khasi Hills, Meghalaya—right near the local petrol pump. Developed for Jocica Kurkalang, this facility brings with it a spacious playing surface, smart design, and high-quality turfing that’s set to serve the local community for years to come.
From Vision to Ground Reality
JC Turf was built with a clear goal: to offer a reliable and safe play area for football lovers and sports groups in the region. With growing interest in artificial turf across smaller towns and hilly regions like Mylliem, this project was a timely addition. At Meckavo Sports, we were excited to take on the challenge and deliver a full-scope solution—from base prep to grass installation.
Spacious, Well-Built, and Ready for Play
The turf spans 44x34 meters with a net height of 8 meters, making it one of the more expansive turf setups we’ve done in Meghalaya. Completed on February 4, 2025, the project features our trusted CC Max artificial grass, chosen for its durability and consistent play performance. This surface handles the region’s weather while offering players a comfortable and safe environment. As always, we ensured that our turf installation followed every safety standard—keeping playability and injury prevention at the forefront.
