A Quality Turf Project Completed in Jowai – Golden Goal Futsal Park, Meghalaya
We’re happy to share the successful completion of another football turf project by Meckavo Sports, this time in Mihmyntdu, Jowai, for Mr. Nobert Phawa. The newly developed Golden Goal Park stands right near the Mookynphad Community Hall and is designed to offer the local football community a reliable space to train, play, and host matches.
From Idea to Execution
What began as a simple idea to build a turf that serves the youth and community of Jowai has now turned into a fully functional football ground. With dimensions of 40x25x8, the Golden Goal Park offers just the right space for engaging matches and recreational games. The team at Meckavo took care of every aspect—from groundwork and levelling to grass installation and net setup.
Material and Build Quality You Can Count On
For this project, CC Max grass was used—known for its consistency, better ball roll, and lasting performance. It’s a preferred choice for many football turf builders across Meghalaya for its natural look and resilience. The result is a surface that holds up well under daily use while giving players the grip and comfort they need.

The entire work was completed by February 17, 2025, right on schedule. With full-scope work including base preparation, turf laying, net setup, and finishing, the project showcases what Meckavo Sports can deliver when quality and execution go hand in hand.
